A big thank you to Bret Cavanagh for his thorough organisation of the fly past over Camden, with dealing with CASA, Camden Council, as well as briefing our member pilots participating on the day. Dave Thomas provided a very important role dispatching and receiving the flyers - well done to you both. Also a great show by our member pilots and friends/family supporting them.
Points wise: the Pilots in Command (PiC) all receive attendance points which will go towards the end of year trophy. Club Member participants and PiC names will also go in the barrel for end of year prize. It was great to see Ann Goulding getting into the spirit of Australia day - patriotic from head to toe. Well done Anne, wish we had thought of doing that. Remember, initiative and fun like that and going the extra yard in an event may result in you getting a extra chance in the barrel.
A great day to start what is going to be a great year of flying ahead for us all.
